Description
The Swane tomb, located 10 yards south of the Church of St John the Baptist, is a chest tomb dated 1715. It is made of dressed stone and features panelled sides with inscriptions in paired ovals on each long side and on the eastern end. The lid is chamfered on the underside and is composed of two pieces. The tomb is inscribed to --- Swane, who died in 1715.
