Description

This is an 18th-century milestone made of sarsen stone, located on the west side of Broad Town Road, opposite No 52. The milestone has an oval front, and its top is eroded to form a channel. The inscription on the milestone reads: "To WOOTTON MARLBRO 3 9 Miles Miles."
