Description

The Wrightson monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 42 metres southeast of the southeast corner of the south chancel of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features raised corner pilasters, a hipped table with corner acroteriae, and a moulded base. It commemorates Samuel Wrightson, who died in 1820.
