Description
The Wright monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 8 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St Peter. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a ledger top with a cyma recta moulded cornice and a moulded plinth. It has raised panels with moulded surrounds, blank east and west ends, and a much eroded north front. The south front is inscribed with the name John Wright, who died in 1748.
