Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, now divided into two dwellings. It features roughcast over stone with a stone plinth and a stone tiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has a double pile plan with three bays on the left and one bay on the right, with a central dining hall and stair at the rear. The three left bays are symmetrical and include a panelled door set in a moulded stone doorcase, which has a dentilled cornice that projects forward as a canopy on consoles above the door. This cornice also covers two 8-pane side sash windows. The ground floor has paired twelve-pane sashes with stone mullions, all surrounded by plain stone. There are gable stacks and an additional stack on the gable of the fourth bay. The rear block also features twelve-pane sashes, but the ground floor has casement windows. There is a slated lean-to against the right gable, which has a central door and two large oval oculi. Additionally, there is a dairy with a shared stack attached to the rear of the lean-to.
