Description

No 25 on West Street is a building dating from around 1800 that has been altered. It features a pebbledash front with a plinth and a brick block eaves cornice. The structure has two storeys and an attic, topped by a tiled roof with a modern gabled dormer that includes a bargeboard. The front has a range of three modern casement windows with Venetian shutters. The entrance consists of a five-panel door, which is flush with the upper part being glazed, and is topped by a modern tiled gable hood with a bargeboard. To the right, there is a footscraper. This building is the end house of a terrace that extends from No 3, excluding Nos 11-17, which are of local interest only. It is included for its group value.
