Description

The Bear Inn is a building from the mid-18th century located on the northeast side of West Street. It has two storeys and features painted brick on a plinth. The roof is tiled, with a gable end chimney positioned to the left under the roof slope of the adjacent No 14. On the first floor, there are four windows, one of which is a panel, and there is one window on the ground floor to the left, all of which are late glazed sashes. The central shop front, dating from the late 19th century, includes three pilasters supporting a shaped fascia, a five-pane window, and a half-glazed modern door. Inside, there are stud party walls.
