Description
No 20 on Falsgrave Road is a building dating from around 1830 to 1840, part of an altered terrace. It has two storeys and a basement, constructed of painted brick, and features a low-pitched gable end slate roof. The front has two bays, with a window above the entrance and a segmental bow that extends through the basement and two storeys. The moulded flat eaves cornice runs across the top. The bow contains tripartite sash windows with flat stucco arches, and the glazing bars are intact. The entrance door consists of six moulded panels and has a rectangular fanlight above it. The doorcase is supported by Greek Doric columns and features a deep entablature with a projecting moulded cornice. There are steps leading up to the door, which are flanked by iron rails.
