Description

This milestone, located about 100 metres northwest of the junction with Old Hardenhuish Lane, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of ashlar stone and features a pyramid-shaped cap. A cast-iron plaque on the milestone indicates that it is 8 miles to Marshfield and 1 mile to Chippenham.
