Description
The barn and coach house, located to the north of Manor Farmhouse, date from the late 17th century and have undergone some alterations in the 19th century. The buildings are constructed of coursed rubble with timber lintels and feature gabled stone slate roofs. They have an L-shaped plan, with the coach house positioned at right angles to the road and the barn running parallel to the rear, which includes a right end midstrey. The north face of both the coach house and barn has casement windows, and the barn has two-leaf plank doors. There is a similar casement window above the midstrey opening. Inside, the barn consists of four bays and retains its original butt-purlin roof structure, although some rafters have been renewed. There is also a granary loft with a screen to the right.
