Description

Milestone located about 50 metres east of No 1 on Melbourne Street in Bratton. This milestone dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. It features a pillar with a semi-circular top and a cast-iron plate on the front that has a semi-circular shaped head. The plate displays raised lettering that reads: "TO/WESTBURY/3 MILES/DEVIZES/II MILES."
