Description

The barn at Emms Farm is an 18th-century structure. It features a timber frame that is covered with weatherboarding, resting on a rubble stone plinth, and has a hipped thatched roof. The barn consists of four bays. There are double planked doors located to the right of the center and a planked door with strap hinges to the left. Inside, it is reported to have collar and tie-beam roof trusses supported by jowled main posts.
