Description
70 and 72 Abbey Road are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the early to mid 19th century. They feature rendered walls and slate roofs, with rendered end stacks. The houses have a double-depth plan and entrances on the returns. They are two stories tall with a two-window front. The first-floor windows are 6/6-pane sashes, while the ground floor has French windows. The returns also have similar sash windows. The original verandah has been replaced since the listing in 1975, and the interior was remodeled in the late 20th century.
