Description
46 and 47 King's Quay Street are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the early 19th century. They are timber-framed with a gabled clay pantile roof and are mostly covered in black weatherboarding, while the ground floor of the front elevation is finished in painted render. The houses are two storeys tall with attics and feature a symmetrical front that includes a central stack and two flat-roofed dormers. Each house has a double-hung sash window with small panes located centrally on each floor, and a 20th-century entrance door positioned on the outer edge of the facade. At the rear, there are block weatherboarded extensions with catslide roofs. Inside, the houses have a simple pine frame, and each unit contains a spiral staircase located behind the stack. In No. 47, there is a cupboard featuring a double curved arched head.
