Description
82 and 84 Drew Street are a semi-detached pair of houses built in the mid-19th century. They feature solid rendered walls and a slated roof, with a rendered chimney on each end wall. The houses are two storeys tall, with an inserted garret at No. 84. The front is symmetrical with three windows, and there are paired round-arched doorways at the centre of the ground storey. The middle upper-storey window appears to belong to No. 84, which has an original six-panelled door that includes a combined knocker and letterbox, with the two bottom panels flush, and a three-paned semicircular fanlight above. The windows have recessed rectangular surrounds, with mid-20th century wood casements in the left-hand window of each storey, and small-paned sashes with margin-panes in the other three windows (eight over eight panes in the ground storey, and six over six in the upper storey). There is a continued sill-band in the second storey and a raised band below the eaves. No. 84 also features a late 20th-century dormer.
