Description
Angel Cottage is a cottage located in a cul-de-sac behind Nos 94A and 94B in Higher Brixham. It is probably from the 17th century or earlier and was superficially remodeled in the mid-19th century. The exterior is made of painted stone rubble and features a slated roof. The cottage is double-fronted and likely one room deep, with two storeys and two windows wide. There is a doorway situated between the ground-storey windows. The door, which dates from the late 20th century, is a plank door with a gabled wood hood that is probably from the late 19th century, complete with shaped bargeboards and a finial. The windows are small-paned wood casements; to the right, there are two lights with four panes each, and to the left, there is one light with six panes. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
