Description

Berkeley Cottage is a 18th century building with early to mid-19th century additions. This one and a half storey structure was originally a pair of thatched cottages. It has a rubble footing and is constructed of painted brick, featuring gable end chimneys. On the first floor, there are three eyebrow dormers situated above the wall plate. The ground floor has three windows, two of which have cambered heads and are fitted with 2-light casements. There are also two doors; the left door has a wooden lintel, while the right door is topped with a cambered hood. To the right, there is a timber-framed, weather-boarded service extension that includes a door.
