Description
Old Mill is a building likely dating from the early 19th century. It stands two and a half storeys high and is covered in creepers. The structure is made from coursed rubble with brick quoins and quoined brick dressings. It has a modern tiled roof that is a quarter hipped to the left, and features one large hipped dormer.
On the first floor, there are six windows and a former doorway, while the ground floor has five windows, most of which have cambered heads, with two on the ground floor featuring wooden lintels. There are also two stable-type doors on the ground floor, along with a modern porch extension on the right-hand gable. To the left, there is a two-storey arched opening that houses a water wheel. A tall, tapering brick chimney rises from the right at the back of the building. The mill includes four mill stouts, with two located at the front and two on the right-hand gable. Additionally, there is a gabled set-back converted wing to the left.
