Description

The Knole is a 17th-century thatched cottage that has been extended in the 20th century. The original, central section of the cottage is one and a half storeys high, rendered, and has one window on each floor. A former door opening has been converted into a window on the left side. The cottage is flanked by a taller, late 19th-century brick gable to the left, and a 20th-century hipped-gabled brick extension to the right, both of which are two storeys high. These extensions feature diamond-paned upper windows. A two-storey brick wing is located at the rear. Two brick chimneys are present.
