Description
Icknield Cottage is an 18th-century thatched cottage with later additions to the south. It has one and a half storeys and features a half-hipped roof on the left side. The cottage is constructed of painted rubble, with the southern part being partly brick at the front. It has three eyebrow dormers and a total of four casement windows: two are three-light and two are two-light. The cottage includes a thatched porch with a glazed door located roughly in the center, as well as a door in the center of the left-hand part, which is adorned with brackets supporting a slight pediment that has a segmental soffit. The building is topped by two brick chimneys.
