Description

Windrush Cottage is an 18th-century cottage with 20th-century extensions. It is constructed of painted brick and has a thatched roof, hipped to the east and half-hipped to the west. The plan is rectangular. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys high, with a ridge chimney positioned on top of the hip to the east. There is one eaves dormer, with swept thatch, off-centre to the west. The windows are irregular timber casements, flanking a central door with a simple boarded hood.
