The building has a long rectangular plan with a lobby entry and stands at one and a half storeys high. There are four eaved dormers with thatch dressed round casements, as well as end and centre stacks. The cottage has casement windows with cambered heads, including three-light and two-light windows on the south end, and three two-light windows on the north end. A central door is located in a gabled porch. There is a one-storey extension on the north side. Inside, some timber framing is visible in the west wall, which is covered by a later outshut.
