Description
Church Farmhouse is a building that dates from the late 18th century for the central section, with an early 19th-century addition to the left and a modern extension to the right. It is two storeys high and has slate roofs. The central part is constructed of chalk ashlar in both thick and thin courses, with brick quoins and dressings. The left section is made of chalk rubble, also featuring brick quoins and dressings. There is a band and cill-band present. The facade includes one window above another, plus one blind panel. A "British" Fire Insurance mark is located over the right-hand first-floor window. The modern large gabled extension is on the right side. The rear of the building is divided into three sections: the left is red brick, the centre is gault brick, and the right is made of red and blue brick.
