Description
Brook House is probably an early 19th-century building that incorporates an earlier structure. It is a two and a half storey house with an irregular plan and a thatched roof. The house is constructed of red brick with black headers and has a half hipped roof on the west side. There is a two storey 'L' plan extension to the north, which was formerly a separate cottage. The main part of the house was altered in the 19th century and has recently been converted. It features three windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, both with brick cambered arches. There are eyebrow dormers on both the front and rear. The rear has been painted and has irregular openings along with a side door. The main entrance is located to the east in the extension cottage, which has a thatched hood over it.
