Description
Millbrook is a 18th-century building that was altered around 1800. It is two and a half storeys tall, constructed of painted brick, and features a Roman tile roof that is hipped to the east. The building has three ridge chimneys. The ground floor and the right-hand side of the north front are made of rubble, with a brick block cornice. There are four ranges of three-light casement windows, which have segmental heads on the ground floor and brick quoined dressings. A gabled porch with seats and a cambered entrance is located to the right of the centre. To the left of the centre, there is a door with wooden trellis-work and a bracketed hood. The building also has two hipped dormers.
The south front is irregular, featuring three windows on one side and two on the other on the first floor. There is a door in the centre of the main part (the left-hand side) with an early 19th-century wood trellis porch and a two-light window above it. The south front also has a moulded cornice and two hipped dormers, along with a projecting slated extension to the right that serves as a bowling alley.
Inside, the staircase has turned balusters and a straight string.
