Description

Fairwater House is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Wroughton High Street. It is a two-range structure with a coursed rubble exterior and a nipped slate roof. The west front features three windows and two two-story angled bays that flank a central projecting porch with an enriched timber cornice and half-fluted columns. The return to the east has two tall sash windows on the first floor, notable for their pointed glazing to the upper parts, similar to those found at Elcombe House. The building has a stone-tiled outhouse of one-and-a-half stories to the rear.
