Description

No 20 on High Street is an early 19th-century thatched house that has been altered over time. It is two storeys tall, constructed of painted rubble with brick quoins, and was originally a 1.5 storey cottage from the 18th century. The gable end faces the road and features a mid-19th century single-storey extension with a slate roof, which includes two windows and two doors. The west front has three glazing bar sash windows on the first floor and four casement windows on the ground floor, along with a lean-to thatched porch that has a modern door. There are two brick chimneys, and the gable end facing the road is hipped and made of painted brick.
