Description
Oak Farm House is a house that originally features an L-plan design, likely dating from the 17th to 18th century, with mid-19th century extensions at the rear angle and to the far gable. The front is constructed of red brick, while the right gable is rendered, possibly over a timber frame. The house has a thatched roof and a brick chimney on the right, along with a 17th to early 18th century brick chimney on the side of the rear wing. It is 1½ storeys high and has two bays. The windows are leaded casements, with three lights in the thatch and on the ground floor of the right bay, and four lights on the ground floor of the left bay. The ground floor and upper right-hand windows have segmental heads, while those on the left feature older diamond glazing. There is a central flush-panelled door with a segmental head. The mid-19th century bay to the left is made of chequer brick with dentil eaves and a tiled roof, and it has two storeys.
