Main block to Wendover Maternity Hospital

ST 67 NW 1/186A II 2. Early C19 rendered walling. Mansard side roof, end gables. Two and a half storeys, attic with 3 modern dormers. Three windows, plate glass sashes, in moulded architraves with egg and dart ornamentation. Central porch with cornice and blocking course, arched doorway with moulded surround, keystone, imposts and panelled pilasters. Glazed double doors under arched fanlight. Parapet with coping; end pilasters and dentilled cornice removed. Tall 2 storey wing to left. Interior: original dog leg staircase with bracket to ends of risers.
