Description
This description is for a pair of gate piers, a gate, and railings located about 5 metres west of the nave of the Church of St. Peter in Dodington, Wapley Hill. The structures date from the early 19th century and are made of cast iron. The square gate piers stand about 1 metre high and feature recessed panels on each side, a cornice, and a shaped top. The wide gate has diagonal and vertical struts and is flanked by fan-shaped railings that have hoop tops. These elements mark the entrance to the former vicarage of the Church of St. Peter.
