Description
This pair of gate piers and railings, located about 35 metres east of the Church of St. Peter, dates from the 19th century. They feature a base made of pennant stone and are constructed from cast and wrought iron. The square cast iron piers stand approximately one metre high and have recessed panels on their sides, topped with a cornice and cap. Each pier supports a diagonal strut gate, and there is a fan-shaped arrangement of plain wrought iron railings on either side, which have hoop tops.
