Description

The churchyard gates, gate piers, and railings for the Church of St Peter were built in the late 19th century and restored around 1990. They are made of cast iron. The double gates feature two levels of bars and dog bars, separated by three pairs of railings that have a double scroll motif between each pair. The square gate piers are decorated with stylized scroll and floral motifs and topped with pyramidal caps. The railings extend approximately 1 meter on either side, with bars and dog bars divided by railings, also featuring an upper row of double scroll motifs between the railings. All these elements create a cohesive group with the Church of St Peter.
