Description
The Bull's Head Inn is a public house located on Alcester Road in Wootton Wawen. It dates back to around 1700 and was originally two cottages, possibly built as agricultural buildings, with later additions and alterations. The building features timber-framing with painted brick infill, painted brick stacks, and a plain-tile roof, and is L-shaped in plan with regular panels of small square timber-framing.
The exterior is single-storey with attics and has four attic gables. The entrance is located at the rear and consists of a part-glazed door. Throughout the building, there are casement windows. The south range has two internal stacks, while the left range has a ridge stack and cornices.
Inside, the inn has exposed timber-framing. It is part of a group with Pound Cottage on Alcester Road and Hawthornes on Stratford Road.
