Description

Monkwood Cottage consists of two houses located on the south side of High Street in Marshfield. These buildings date from the early to mid-19th century and are constructed of rubble with a slate roof featuring coped raised verges. No. 151 has two bays, while the eastern part of No. 153 is a single bay and is a lower building. The windows include 20-pane glazing bar sash windows on the right and a large pane sash window on the left. No. 151 has a plank door. The cottages are included for their group value at the entry to the town. The west part of No. 153 is not included in this listing.
