Description
No. 138 on High Street is a house located in the village, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble and features a slate roof, with the lowest two courses made of stone slates and coped raised verges. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows are glazing bar sash windows set in architraves, with raised plain panels below. The central window on the first floor has a semi-circular head with a keystone. To the right on the ground floor, there is a late 19th-century shop window. The central door, which dates from the 20th century, is framed by an architrave and topped with a pediment supported by brackets.
