Description

No. 142 on High Street is a house located in the village, dating from the mid 18th century and remodelled in the mid 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a double Roman tiled roof. The building has two storeys and cellars, with three bays. The mid 19th century sash windows have marginal glazing bars and are set within plain stone surrounds. The central entrance consists of a panelled door framed by a moulded doorcase and topped with a flat stone hood supported by decorative carved consoles.
