Description

No. 88 on High Street is a house located in the village, dating from the early 19th century. It is built of ashlar stone and features a slate mansard roof with a coped raised verge on the right side. The building has two storeys and attics with dormer windows, arranged in three bays. The outer bays are canted and two storeys high, with large pane sash windows on the ground floor and a plain band above. The first floor has glazing bar sash windows, with the central window featuring a semi-circular head and Gothick glazing. There is a central six-panel door that is sheltered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets.
