Description

This is a mid-18th century house located on the south side of High Street in Marshfield. The house is constructed of coursed squared rubble and has a double Roman tiled roof with coped raised verges and a coved cornice. It is two storeys and has attics. The front elevation has four bays with 2- and 3-light casement windows, each with moulded mullions and surrounds, and 8-pane sashes. A continuous moulded string course runs above the ground floor windows. An off-centre six-panel door is sheltered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets. A two-storey rear wing is also present.
