Description

Marshstone Cottage is a late 17th century building located on the south side of High Street in the village of Marshfield. Originally two houses, it has been converted into one. The structure is built of rubble with a 20th-century tiled roof and features an off-centre brick stack. The cottage has two storeys, with three windows and two outer plank doors on the ground floor, and two windows on the first floor. The windows are a mix of two- and three-light casements, some of which have ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds, along with under drip moulds.
