Description

Ivy Cottage is probably a late 17th or early 18th century building, originally two small cottages that were later converted into a single dwelling and restored in the late 20th century. Constructed of rubble stone with a stone slate roof and a large stone ridge stack positioned to the right of the centre, the cottage is arranged as a single range of two storeys and an attic. A small, later extension is present on the left side, featuring a double Roman tile roof. The central gable is steeply pitched and contains a small single light window at the top, accompanied by two three-light casement windows below. A smaller two-light window is located on the first floor to the left. On the ground floor, a plank door sits to the left, sheltered by a sloping porch hood supported by struts, and glazed double doors are situated to the right.
