Description
The small stable at Baker's Farm, likely built in the late 18th century, is a structure featuring a loft. It is constructed from rubble stone and has a stone slate roof, along with a lean-to on the north-west side that has a corrugated-iron roof. The north-east gable end includes a loft door with a recessed plank door and a timber lintel, as well as a small triangular vent hole at the apex. There is a similar vent hole on the south-west gable, which also has a pitch hole and a small lean-to beneath it. On the south-east side, there is a stable door to the right, also with a timber lintel. At the time of the survey in July 1985, the stable was unused.
