Description

No. 126 is a house located on the north side of High Street in Marshfield, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with coped raised verges, a coped parapet, and a moulded cornice. The building has two storeys and attics with a dormer, and it is arranged in three bays. The corners are accentuated with rusticated quoins, and there is a plain band above the ground floor. The windows are 16-pane glazing bar sash windows, each with keystones. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door beneath a decorative overlight, with an additional panelled door located to the right.
