Description
A former Congregational chapel, dated 1848, now incorporated into a printing works. The chapel is constructed of coursed rubble with freestone dressings, and has a slate roof with coped raised verges. It is built in a lancet style, with four bays featuring lancet windows beneath hood moulds with carved stops. Buttresses are present between the windows and at the ends, with off-sets. A gabled projecting porch is located on the east gable end, exhibiting angle buttresses and a pointed arch doorway. A trefoil window is situated in the gable above the porch. The interior has been subdivided for industrial use.
