Description

This stable, built around 1800 and later altered, is located approximately 20 meters to the west of The Loans in Alveston. It is constructed from rubble with stone dressings and has bitumen-coated slate roofs. The central bay is two stories tall and projects forward, featuring two 20th-century garage entrances and a loading door on the first floor that has a round arched head, keystone, and impost blocks. There is a single-storey wing on each side, each with a 20th-century door and window. Above the central gable, there is a cupola and weathervane.
