Description
This building is a stable located approximately 75 meters south-southwest of Oversley Castle, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof. The stable is a single storey with a loft above, consisting of three bays. The central door is topped with an overlight, and there are two-light windows on either side, all featuring cambered brick heads. A small one-light window and a loft door are located on the right end. The roof has a three-bay interrupted queen post design with struts reaching to the eaves level. Inside, the floor includes chamfered spine beams, with edges left open to allow access to the hay racks below. There is a 20th-century lean-to extension at the rear, which is not considered to have special architectural interest.
