House. Late C18 with early C19 additions and c.1930 additions in same style. Limestone ashlar, wing to right rendered and scored to match ashlar, lead and slate roofs with stacks to each side of main block. Main block has side wings, originally flanking pavilions. Classical style. Centre block has 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows, all early C19 sashes of 12 panes and 3 dormers of 4 panes with segmental heads, central Ionic portico with open segmental pediment and dentillation, double fielded and panelled doors, large fanlight, moulded arch rising from impost blocks, acanthus keystone, plinth, cornice, parapet and coping. c.1930 wings to right and left broken forward, 2 storeys, 4 x 3 windows to right, 3 x 2 to left, of various sizes symmetrically placed, all with glazing bars, cornice, parapet, coping and end stack to right, loggia to left side with 3 pairs of Ionic columns, dentilled cornice, balustrade with corner and central dies, 2 French windows. Rear of main block has all windows as on front, 2 storey canted bay to each side with glazing bars. Interior: entrance hall has curved, open string stair with slender bobbin-turned balusters and banded mahogany wreathed handrail carried round 1st floor landing, all doors in wooden architraves with open scrolled. segmental pediments and inner panelling, wooden acanthus and flower carved fireplace, cornice, ground floor rooms have Adam-style wooden fireplaces and shutters to windows.
