Description
The entrance gates, piers, and wall located about 10 metres north of Pypers date from the early 19th century. The wall is divided into two sections, each approximately 6 metres long, with piers at each end that frame the gates. The structure is made of rubble, sandstone, and limestone, featuring cast and wrought iron gates. The rubble wall has a limestone coping, while the end piers are made of limestone ashlar. The central piers are rusticated sandstone with a shaped top on a vermiculated plinth.
