Description

This structure consists of a wall and piers located about 50 metres east of Mill Place, dating from the early 19th century. The wall is made of sandstone rubble and stands approximately 1.5 metres high, extending about 80 metres in length and featuring coping along the top. At each end, the wall curves around to a pair of entrance piers, which are about 2 metres high and sit on plinths. These piers have moulded arrises, a cornice, and a shaped top. The gates at the entrances are from the 20th century.
