Description
This chest tomb, located 12 yards south of the Priest's Door of St. James' Church, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is made of limestone ashlar and features square inscribed panels with enriched borders, as well as a moulded cornice. The chest tombs are a notable collection of local and classical tomb designs, significantly enhancing the church's setting.
