Description
This chest tomb, located 6 yards southeast of the chancel of St. James' Church, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features illegible square panels, corner pilasters, and a moulded plinth and cornice. The chest tombs are a notable collection of local and classical tomb designs and significantly enhance the church's setting.
